ReconEng successfully completes design, development and production line commissioning of an automatic tapping machine at Assa Abloy, Melbourne site.
System was designed for continuous production line tapping of press metal castings. It features an incline loader which continually feeds parts for tapping done by a multi-spindle head. It is also designed to be able to tap on the same machine multiple hole configurations found on different parts.
